We spend a great amount of time throughout our day sitting on the floor listening to stories, learning and sharing ideas. Every day we work in small groups and problem solve together learning about the world around us. Often we use clipboards and lay on the floor. My students love to spread out on the floor and read, draw and play games together. We would like to make our learning area comfy and cozy by having a carpet to designate each student with their own learning space as well as lay on and read books. This rug will help children feel at home.
