These Chromebooks will impact my classroom by bringing the World Wide Web to my students’ hands. These students live in a poverty stricken community with very little resources. Our town population is less than 5,000 people; which means we do not have many technological advances. Students of today thrive when they have the resources they need. I teach history and have found that students respond well to project based learning. My classroom does not have any computers, therefore leaving a huge gap in my curriculum. I would like to be able to do more webquest, research projects, and PBLs. I would also love to be able to teach my students about creditable online platforms. Without computers or some sort of internet source these lessons are unattainable.
