Interactive notebooks are a great tool to help students understand where numbers are coming from! We color-coordinate everything! We need a ton of glue sticks, markers, and pencils to make this happen. I have learned that some students really don’t do well sitting in desks, but rather feel much more comfortable sitting on the floor so I would love to have floor mats for those students. They can grab a floor mat and sit anywhere they’d like in the room while taking quizzes or tests. In addition, for the students who do like to sit in desks, I’d love to have tennis balls so the floors don’t get scratched 4th graders tend to fidget in their seats. Students love creating their interactive notebooks to use as a study tool! It's a great visual aid for multiple intelligence students and students who really struggle to understand math. Interactive notebooks make a difference in student learning because students understand where a formula is originating from. They create foldable and models to help them review at home as oppose to reading from a text book. Please help us reach our goal!
