Provide the students with an opportunity to explore and communicate with other students near and far. Allow the students a chance to experience a cultural exchange. This will permit the students an opportunity to learn from a global perspective. They will have the exposure that will activate their knowledge thus permitting them to set higher goals, etc. The students need information that will permit them to think on a larger scale and apply what's needed to reach their goals. The iPad may also be used as a tool to change their mindset and thin king. They need to know that there is a world outside of their local environment.
