The products I have selected will allow me to create and develop interesting mathematical learning stations for students to solve mathematical problems. My students enjoy the opportunity to work math problems as they circulate around the room. They can work as individuals or in partner settings to solve problems. It allows them the opportunity to problem-solve in a collaborative effort. Great peer-tutoring opportunities occur while having fun and learning math skills. These stations are exciting and fun because students aren't sitting at worksheet assignments which can be tedious and boring. The stations consist of scavenger hunts which one solution to a problem leads to the next problem to solve. The card stock paper, colored posters, and markers are for creating the stations. The tape for posting them along the walls of the classroom, and the clip boards for students to fill in templates with answers to the stations as well as completed work. The remaining materials are to organize the station production throughout the year. Students love these stations and constantly ask when the next ones will appear in the classroom. Students are self-motivated and far more interested in learning math with this strategy. Amazing to watch as they collaborate and assist each other in learning!
