The use of a Texas Instrument Graphing Calculator gives advanced students the ability to investigate different ways to solve math problems. These students already know their basic mathematical skills. They will use this technology to create solutions that they might have had difficulty by just using paper and pencil. The first and foremost is to give all students a chance to use technology in the classroom while living in the 21st century. They will be able to accurately display real world math problems on their screen without having to worry if they plotted the correct points. By having this secure feeling, my students will have the confidence needed to achieve higher order thinking skills.

About my class
