We are located in an economically disadvantaged area in Antioch Ca. Ever more increasingly I witness businesses shuttered throughout or neighborhood. Our clientele is mostly Hispanic with a growing African American component. These are wonderful energetic children that often times are labeled as underachieving feel that it is the lack of resources that slows their success. With increased opportunity I see a group of students, many bilingual,that are totally capable of economic success. We do our best with what we have but they hunger for the technology dangled in front of them by Madison Avenue.
