Movement is very important for children. Wobble stools allow students to rock, wobble, and move while listening and working. Many times throughout the day we sit. Alternative seating will provide my students with options while they work. Wobble stools will help strengthen their core muscles and improve their balance. As each year passes, I am more and more aware of the fact that children come to school having spent very little time moving due to this technology driven world. Wobble stools will allow students to move as they learn without distracting peers. Research states that movement has a powerful effect on how the brain learns.
