Students who become overwhelmed and overstimulated in the classroom setting rarely can make academic progress and often find themselves lost. These students are often left to flounder without ways to cope. Having an area in my room will allow these students much-needed outlets like Feel & Find Sensory Tubs - Complete Set, Mad Matter Sensory Dough, and a Boundary Chair to calm and quiet their bodies and minds. Help me help my students with sensory differences make the most of their learning experience. These guys have a lot to offer when given the right set of tools. My sensory area is only the beginning to giving these kids a meaning foothold to become lifelong learners and community members.

About my class
