I believe in the inherent potential of every child, and that with the use of technology we can give everyone the ability to functionally communicate to meet their basic wants and needs. We can provide students access to a picture communication application that can support them while participating in groups and playing with their peers. The purchase of these materials will provide my students with a functional mode of communication. The iPad will be used​ for students with significant communication delays, or who are non-verbal. It will give them access to technology that they can use to communicate with their teachers and peers.
