I teach music for students in Kindergarten through 8th grade at a Title I school and am proud to say that I have the best job in the world! Every week, I get to see every student in the entire elementary school and a great group of 12 students in the middle school. My students are talented, curious, and love having hands-on opportunities to learn. 99% of our school is African American, most students receive free/reduced lunch and weekend food bags, and 99% are from economically disadvantaged households. Our school is a family of learners and our classroom is a place for endless opportunities. Thank you for your support as I strive to create engaging, meaningful, and authentic learning opportunities for the students in my class.
