For several years, my school district has dealt with a budget crisis that has impacted funding for supplies for our students. This equipment would support my student's multi-sensory needs as well as visual motor development. Headphones would assist in decreasing stimulation. Fidgets, chewies, and weighted lap pads assist in calming my students. Sit n move cushions, footbands, and stools would provide movement opportunities for an ideal learning environment. This equipment would improve my student's therapy services so that they could be more successful in​ their classrooms. It would offer more individualized support so that they can participate in their special and general educational programs.
