About my class

As a support staff, time with my ESL students is rather limited. Learning in our classroom is very active. With language learners especially, it's essential to build background knowledge, introduce vocabulary, and teach content, all in a vert short time. Together, we need to maximize instruction through effective techniques. This dry erase table will do just that! Donations will help support primary language learners in a variety of collaborative and creative ways! There are endless ways that my learners will be able to utilize this dry erase table. At the primary level especially, my students work a lot on handwriting, grammar, and basic writing components. This table will serve as a practice space for my kiddos to practice conventions of writing in a fun, collaborative way! Additionally, we use a lot of "quick notes" when writing. Our curriculum encourages students to make notes as they write. During reading instruction, students will be able to jot down notes on their new classroom dry erase table! My students will be thrilled to have a fun space to brainstorm and express ideas!
