As a "new" teacher, my classroom first started with a bunch of materials passed down for years and years from retired teachers. I have spent a lot of personal money trying to upgrade my classroom materials, especially my library, to meet the needs of all of my students. I currently teach 27 third graders that all have a unique story, but something we all have in common is our LOVE for reading! We love independent reading, partner reading, and read alouds--anything we can do to enjoy a great story together. What we need are more books that are high quality, have relatable characters, teach us important lessons, and pique our interest. Please help add to our growing library!
