Using technology for learning will give me another resource to use with my students with disabilities. Our current curriculum has an online portal that my students can access at school to reinforce concepts we are learning through fun and interactive games. This is motivational and developmentally appropriate for my students with disabilities. It provides them an opportunity to be independent in their learning and reinforce skills taught in the classroom. In addition, I can download apps that will support self-regulation, communication, daily living skills and other essential skills my students require for future skill development. iPads are incredible learning tools for my students.
