In a 21st century learning environment, students need access to the latest technology. With the iPads in this project, students will be able to utilize technology in a variety of ways such access personalized learning applications (iReady, Lexia, Zearn, and RAZ Kids) and enhance project based learning. For example, RAZ Kids gives students access to thousands of leveled books through the electronic medium and ZEARN provides students with interactive lessons and personalized remediation. Throughout the school year, students will be able to use the iPads to research topics and interact with projects in new and innovative ways such as creating their own digital world through coding, and documenting their work. With these iPads, you will help change the lives of our students. . By giving students exposure to iPads now will also help prepare our students for the PARCC--the nationwide standards based assessment that is all digital. We can open up portals of learning in every corner of our classroom to ensure student success!
