All of these materials will set a strong foundation for the students in my classroom. The magnetic pictures and letters, and Hear Myself phones will be used in stations for the students. These engaging and fun activities will boost students phonemic awareness and reading fluency. All of these materials will help to build students' working knowledge of letter and sound recognition. These materials will be used on a daily basis in different stations for my students to explore. With access to these materials my kindergarten students can independently work on the skills needed for them to become more academically proficient. With all of the materials listed my students will be able to have the opportunity to utilize these items that many of them would not have access to at home. This will help ensure that we close the gap that exists among many of my students.
