My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education and the world around them. Education is changing every day, along with the interests of my students. The STEM kits and Science/Social Studies curriculum will give my students an opportunity to engage in quality collaboration with their peers by utilizing the various tools needed for success. Cutting edge science kits will help my students gain the knowledge and confidence to become inventors and engineers. Alternative seating and art supplies will help transform our innovative classroom into an environment that is suitable for the vigorous and challenging projects we intend to explore. Alternative seating will help my students during independent work time when they have an opportunity to choose a space that works for them. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive to their peers when they are given a choice where to work. Art can be connected to many different areas of learning. Art supplies will help my students express themselves creatively across the disciplines. They are very excited to have a plethora of paint colors and mediums. All the materials requested in this project will help my students learn and grow exponentially!
