Hello! Thank you for taking an interest in my project. I am starting an after school LEGO Club at my school. I will be using my own collection of LEGO bricks, but I would really love to have a larger collection so that I can offer them to more students. LEGO bricks help students to develop their imaginations, creativity and social skills! We will begin our club with free play. This will give students a chance to decompress from the day. Then students will complete a building challenge (in groups or pairs). Students will be asked to complete challenges such as building an animal, creating using only one color or creating the tallest building. At the end of the club, the kids will have show and tell. Each group will talk about what they made and other groups will have a chance to ask questions.
