The students in my classroom benefit from engaging, hands-on work, which often requires printing multiple color copies of a resource. These resources can then be laminated so that students can use them again and again, or can be used for students to practice fine motor skills such as cutting and pasting. A color printer would also allow my students access to visuals which would support their need for multi-sensory supports in the classroom. My students benefit from not only hearing directions but seeing those directions displayed pictorially, in both new and routine activities. A color printer would increase their successful in academic, behavioral, and social situations.
