All students would rather learn through hands on experiences. The MicroBit allows students to learn how to write computer code and implement STEM initiatives through build various projects. An example project using the MicroBit is the designing, building, and programming a digital billboard for an attraction the students choose for a famous location. Students will choose a famous location such as the Eiffel Tower. Then student build a water slide, zip line, or another tourist attraction for the Eiffel Tower. Lastly, students will build a billboard for the attraction that includes the MicroBit. The MicroBit will display the name of the attraction using computer code the student write.
