My students are developing readers. I have decided to create a reading corner where children can get comfortable and get lost in a book. Some of my students do not have ways of accessing a public library. All of their reading is done in school. I want my children to feel comfortable in their reading corner with comfy floor/chairs and five pillows so they feel right at home. They will use this reading corner for when they complete work and can pick a "free activity" or during independent reading time. My students enjoy reading books and I want them to continue to feel positive when they are reading in a comfy environment.
