These materials will help improve my students creativity, build social skills, and create a positive classroom environment. All of these materials will give my students an opportunity to build, create, and learn how to work with their peers. For example, students will use the building bricks to create a tower or bridge. They will learn science and engineering skills while being able to work with others and move around in the morning. A lot of my students come in lethargic and unmotivated to complete a morning worksheet every day. My struggling students have a hard time completing work and they already feel behind when they come into the classroom in the morning. With these materials, my students will be able to choose from a variety of meaningful, engaging activities to help get them excited about learning first thing in the morning! Students will come in looking forward to school, rather than dreading another worksheet activity. These activities will be creative learning experiences to help my students grow as learners and classroom community members.
