Reading is a life-long skill. With today's tech savvy students, I want to create a comfortable environment for today's diverse learners. I would like to add a rocking chair to my Library so I can engage younger students through animated read-alouds as well as buddy reading. Today's students spend too much time sitting in the classroom. I am also looking to purchase a high top table to accommodate older students who would like to stand while completing their work. The addition of the rocking chair and the high top table allow for students of diverse needs to have a cozy learning nook.
