I am setting up a first grade classroom in our brand new school and we are lacking several supplies, that we have had in the past, because of our limited budget. These book boxes and bean bags will be used to help students keep their books organized, help them learn how to take care accountability for the books they choose and then read in comfort. They will be used for several more years than the book boxes made of cardboard that need to be replaced every year. The bean bags provide comfort and are fun to move around the room. When some students read to themselves, they need to find a quiet place away from the group so they can focus easier. The bean bags are nice to sit on rather than a cold floor.

About my class
