My Name is Jordan Dockery and this is my fourth year in education. This is my first year at the Kansas City International Academy and I will be co-teaching in 2nd grade. We serve refugees families and students from over 21 different countries. I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and ELL certification. In 2017 I completed my Master's Degree in Education and Innovation with and Emphasis in Global Sustainability from Webster University. Currently I am working on my second Master's Degree in English as a Second Language (ELL) from the University of Central Missouri. This is also my 7th season coaching Girls on the Run - a program that fosters emotional and physical well-being in young girls. My hope is to provide underprivileged students with the resources and supplies necessary for social and academic success.
