By intorducing a class set of Chromebooks, I hope to show my students that social studies is important just like the tested subjects in schools today. I hope my students will take ownership of their learning and become more independent thinkers. These chromebooks will grant my middle schoolers the opportunity to research ancient civilizations and US history. We will be able to work in class presentations together and work on projects in small groups. I hope to show my students the responsible ways to use technology and how much we can learn about history through new technology. We will also be researching current even issues using these chromebooks to keep the students aware of the events happening on the here and now.
