I am requesting Samsung Galaxy tablets for my classroom to engage students in math, literacy, science, and social studies. I want my students to be able to have technology because many of them use it as part of their life outside the classroom. This will make it easier for the teacher to figure out learning gaps. My students need multiple opportunities to be introduced to literature and math. They will have access to books to literacy to improve fluency, accuracy, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. I will also be able to assign students projects and assignments through technology. These materials will help students become proficient in reading so that they are on the path to college-readiness. Also, they will increase engagement.
