My students are very active. They play soccer, chase each other in tag at recess, and climb to the top of the jungle gym. They are still kids, and they love to move around. This can make sitting in a classroom for extended periods of time more challenging. I am needing to provide flexible seating to my students who need it most - the wiggliest of them all! These wobble seats and bouncy bands will give my students the freedom to move while they continue to work hard. They will allow students to move and get their wiggles out without distracting others, and they will make the chairs in my classroom feel more comfortable on test days. I already have students in mind who I would love to see using these in action, because I know it would make a huge difference in their classroom experience. This project has the potential to reach over 200 4th and 5th grade scientists. There are enough bouncy bands for every chair in my classroom, and wiggle seats for six students per class. I am excited to see the positive changes these materials could make for my students!
