My 8th graders are South Floridians who have a passion for technology and excitement. They are engrossed when music, video and interactive activities are applied. Totaling 125 students divided into 6 periods of gifted, advanced, exceptional learners (ESE), Foreign Language Speakers (ESOL) and general students. Their socio-economic status is middle class living in a quickly growing suburbia. My lower performing students greatest challenge is visualizing new concepts and ideas related to social studies.
