Flexible seating allows students to make seating choices that work for them. This teaches students to take ownership in their learning. It also teaches students to be responsible. They are motivated when they are comfortable and can choose where to work. I have found that students work best when they can get out of the traditional desk or chair. I currently have a limited amount of flexible seating. By adding to their options, I can reach more students and help keep them on track. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work. I believe that the products that I chose will help my student immensely. I have many students that like to stand while working so the hedgehog balls would be perfect for them. I have also found that many of my students like to lay down to get comfortable when they work, so the comfy floor seats will be extremely beneficial for them. These options will allow students to stay focused.
