The Scholastic math magazines will help my students experience the world, outside of the neighborhood, in which they live. The magazines will provide a language rich platform from which to learn about the world and connecting it with math infused topics, enriching their educational experiences. Receiving both levels of magazines, will allow choice during free time and in the after school setting to learn about a math related topic, which is both at their chosen level, as well as their chosen interest, increasing learning. Using the magazines during regular class time, will put a real world experience to the topics we are learning.

About my class
