My students have been working incredibly hard using the academic assignments that have given them. However, my students have not been able to continue to work on their social skills, emotional skills, educational and self-regulation. This project will provide an iPad to my students to work on these skills using the humanoid Robot Milo. Milo can make a connection with students that even the teacher struggles with. It is amazing to see the joint attention gained while using him. Once we return to school, my extraordinary special education students with autism will have the benefits of additional iPads in the classroom for other learning projects.
