About 3 years ago, the carpet that covered the entire floor was pulled. I had to use a carpet for our whole-group area. We gather on the carpet for various reasons and all students cannot fit due to the increase in class size. Some students will sit next to the carpet on the bare floor, while others will have to get chairs, which is time-consuming. With these interlocking foam mats, students will have a space of their own. No need to worry about if someone is too close or in their space. We will also be able to transform the mats into a variety of sizes, depending on the task at hand. Students will be able to work in groups and/or partnerships throughout the room without having to sit on the bare floor.
