Do you remember your favorite book growing up? I’m sure you can recall the excitement you had once you fell in love with a book series. My students share that same excitement. They love to read! My students are engaged readers and critical thinkers who strive to build their vocabulary and reading comprehension. Books are essential to every child’s education as they are the foundation to success. For English language learners, books are especially important and truly valued. I am building my class library to include a variety of reading levels so the needs of each of my students are satisfied. Most of my students do not have access to books at home and, therefore, rely on the books from my classroom library to enhance their reading capabilities. Each day, my students are excited to read, and I want to offer them the appropriate books to be successful members of society. I am asking for level 1 classroom books, fiction sight word flash cards, sight word cards, and sight word level 1 books to enhance my ELL students' literacy levels. My students also need math workbooks that are appropriate for their mathematical abilities. Additionally, the easel board and paper helps my visual learners in math and writing class. Lastly, I am constantly printing out worksheets and forms for my students so I am asking for ink for my printer. Thank you!
