I would have more books and materials to share with my class and my second grade team members. The books I have requested by Julia Cook are awesome resources for read alouds. They all have important messages and great discussions take place when students are exposed to the stories. I have a few in my classroom that I currently own and they have been amazing! I have chosen What If everyone Said That, Ricky Sticky Fingers, and Sorry, I Forgot to Ask as some books for leadership and Growth Mindset. I have chosen My Dirty Dog and I Want a Dog as resources for our Lucy Calkins writing program. They would all be terrific resources for my classroom.
