Reading is so important but many students find it to be boring! That simply should not be the case the case. A goal in my classroom is to change that mindset. I believe students will love to read when given the resources that interest them, and a safe, comfortable place to enjoy it. Students crave adventures. Many of these books are silly and give them just that. When they sit down with a good book they can go so many different places. Reading also helps increase vocabulary. Students who read more actually do better in all of their academics, and tests. "There's no such thing as a kid who hates reading. There are kids who love reading, and kids who are reading the wrong books." - James Patterson
