Imagine how uncomfortable you would be if you were a six foot tall student sitting at a small desk during an 84 minute class period. At the end of a long day you might feel as though you could not sit still another minute! This is exactly what happened at the end of a long day with one of my energetic teenage students. Currently my students work at permanently mounted computer desks that do not allow for flexibility within the classroom and their options for seating arrangements are very limited. My students need the ability to move around and stretch their bodies. Flexible seating using the Royal Seating 1600 Switch Sit or Stand Desk and Flash Mobile Sit-Down/Stand-Up Computer Desk will provide opportunities for my students to stretch their legs and backs while providing them with the option to work alone or in groups. Mobile desks will provide the flexibility to move to different locations in the classroom. This will help the individual needs of my students resulting in improved concentration and focus on daily activities.
