My sweet Kindergarteners deserve a place to read, write, work collaboratively, and use the rug itself as a center. We meet each morning on our rug to sing, review, learn, teach, and listen to each other. The children deserve a new and clean place to do all the above activities. The rug currently in my room is the one that I bought 16 years ago. It would be a huge blessing to have a fresh new rug that is inviting to my students. The students use the rug to work on their writing, reading, language, STEM activities and building activities.
