My bright and enthusiastic 2nd graders and I are using a 20+ year old chart stand for many mini lessons of ELA and math throughout the day. It is missing a rubber bottom on one of the bar legs. It is in a fixed position where they all have to look up. As it is very heavy and has no wheels, it stays in one spot in my classroom. The new stand will help students to look at the chart with ease and take it to different sections of the room to engage in activities. It will enable visual learners and visually impaired students to get an access to high quality learning.
