I have about 40 eager learners that love to design, create, and build while collaborating with their peers. LEGOs can be used to teach math concepts such as multiplication or fractions. I also use them to build team collaboration during engineering challenges. In addition, LEGOs are a great resource to help calm a frustrated student. Giving that student 5 minutes to calm down to design and create can be powerful. Through the use of play and creativity my students are able to have fun while learning. Please consider purchasing my class a box of LEGOs and some boards to help foster these uses.
