First graders are often expected to sit, listen, write, and read throughout the day with minimal opportunities for play and social interaction. While reading and writing are critical components of education, play is a critical component of a child's development. Materials such as Tinker Toys, Interlox, and story cubes will inspire children to explore and create while also fostering a newfound excitement for learning. Hands-on learning opportunities benefit learners of all ages. By contributing to this project, you will be giving my students opportunities to use their imaginations, create, design, and play with their peers. Thank you for sparking a love of learning in our young learners!
