The project that I am hoping to provide for my students will help them learn coding and grasp specific concepts and knowledge across the curriculum. I am looking to get Kindle Fires for the students so they have an outlet to open their introduction and to further their technology education. Our classroom has two Wonder Dash Robots and six LEGO WeDo kits, but we lack the technology to run these robots. The students can only accomplish so much and with the Kindles it would provide a much needed expansion for these tools. If it were not for parent and friend donations and working robotics' camp we would not have these in our classroom. Kindles will provide students the ability to learn more about coding and explore more about robots, plus work independently, with a partner or a group learning to code these robots. The Kindle Fire tablets with the protective cases will ensure that students have the opportunity and platform for coding, research, and using a wide variety of apps that are free for the Kindle Fire. Kindle Fires will be a great surprise and addition to our classroom.
