The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom, especially in math. I use Eureka Math which utilizes collaborative thinking and sharing. Each student has access to a dry erase board, but having enough dry erase markers is sometimes a challenge. I need to add to their collection so we do not have to go to the last resort of pencil and paper. For test taking, the challenge is keeping students focused on their task. The privacy folders are going to be a major step toward keeping their attention longer to build their test endurance. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, but you will also help to increase their academic achievement. I know as an adult how much it can affect my attention if I have any distractions. The noise cancelling headphones will help those types of students block out noise distractions to help them keep their attention on the problems in front of them.
