The students will choose articles based on their interests. After multiple at home and on line readings, the students will be able to discuss the most important points. Because of their circumstances, fresh reading material is not always available. This project will give them the opportunity to read a magazine on their level. Reading for pleasure is a gift-please help my students learn the joy of reading, which will last their whole lives. We have classroom reading materials, but very little that is fresh or novel. The students love non-fiction, and will read anything that is fact-based!
