We have a limited time to focus on our speech and language skills. It is helpful for my kids to have fidgets for their hands and/or feet to help them concentrate on the skills we are learning. The light covers make the therapy room more soothing and comforting. Learning from home over virtual therapy is becoming more prevalent. Having a large mouth model helps the student visualize placement of articulators more easily from a distance. Tongue depressors help stabilize the jaw at home while doing speech exercises. The tongue depressors are also valuable for in person therapy in showing tongue placement. The flavored tongue depressors are fun for the kids to use.
