My goal with this new classroom is to create a relaxed and inviting area that will offer all my students a positive environment. By having the colorful rug students will be able to navigate thier space and begin to understand the concept of personal space. What a wonderful addition this relaxing space would be to our classroom as we watch students' confidence growing, and watch them enjoy learning. By having this addition to my classroom students will come to the carpet for circle time, specific learning and the occasional video. My hope is to build a classroom and environment where students are excited to come to school everyday. Learning is such a gift ~ and I am privileged to watch as this “magic” happens with my fabulous first graders!
