We have been looking for the perfect Community Learning playset for our classroom. The LEGO Duplo set is sized to help develop fine motor skills and students to learn about our community and the world. The addition of multiple cultures will bring the world into our STEM classroom. The LEGO DUPLO STEM set will include enough materials to satisfy the curiosity of my students and allow them to build skills such as sorting, classifying, analyzing, and sharing. Students will be able to work together to accomplish goals or work individually. Constructing with LEGO blocks brings abstract concepts to tactile learning through early math, language and literacy, and science skills. Students are also able to use the set in roleplay learning to enhance social-emotional learning, creative exploration, self-expression, and negotiation skills.
