Chromebooks in our classroom will make a huge difference in my students' learning. In my classroom of 17 children, I have two iPads, which is great, but it isn't enough technology to suffice the needs for my children to be learning in a 21st century classroom. Having four Chromebooks added to my classroom would allow my students to use a Chromebook 1-on-1 during my small group guided reading and math times. My students would be able to utilize educational websites to improve their foundational skills in both reading and math. They would be able to explore and research various topics, and share their learning with their parents through the digital world. As we are shifting to a world where moments are captured in real time, learning is gained in an instant, and communication is expressed at the tip of our fingers, our classrooms need to be equipped with technology to keep up with our forever changing future.
