Musical Theater inspires the soul and allows creativity through voice, dance, and acting. Every other year the fine arts departments put together a spring musical. Musical auditions are open to all 987 students currently enrolled at the school. If students are not cast in the show, they are welcomed in and often participate in the production through a technical role. These materials would allow the school to produce a show they've never produced on it's current stage due to safety issues for tap dancers and lack of lighting effect for rain. Producing this show would also hearken them back to a time before film had voice and help them in essence find their own voice with their contribution to the show.
